Dynamo Kyiv has defeated Dutch vice-champions AZ Alkmaar 2-0 in a one-off tie of the Champions League third qualifying round.
The match took place at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex in Kyiv on September 15.
Gerson Rodrigues scored in the 49th minute and Mykola Shaparenko made it 2-0 in the 86th minute.
Dynamo Kyiv will take on Belgium's Gent in the play-off round on September 22 and 29.
