Svitolina retains 5th place in WTA rating

Ukraine's top-seeded tennis player Elina Svitolina has remained in fifth place in a new ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) released on January 13.
Svitolina, with 5,075 points, is behind Ashleigh Barty of Australia (7,547), Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic (5,940), Naomi Osaka of Japan (5,496) and Simona Halep of Romania (5,461), according to Ukrinform.
Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska (1,820) dropped two spots to 24th.
Another Ukrainian, Kateryna Kozlova (699), retained 91st position.
