Ramirez to get $1.2 mln for fight with Postol

WBC/WBO world light welterweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez of the United States will get $1.2 million for a fight with Ukrainian boxer Viktor Postol, according to Ukraine's sports news site Champion.com.ua.
The bout will take place in the Chinese city of Haikou on February 1, 2020. Ramirez's championship belts will be at stake. The victory over the Ukrainian, according to the American's team, should be the first step for Ramirez towards getting the title of undisputed world champion.
Postol is now preparing for the fight in Los Angeles under the direction of American trainer Freddie Roach.
The upcoming meeting is a unique chance for the 35-year-old Ukrainian to return to the big game.
