Konoplyanka's transfer cost Shakhtar EUR 1.5 mln - media

Shakhtar Donetsk has paid EUR 1.5 million for Ukraine midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka's transfer from Germany's Schalke 04, according to German tabloid Bild.
Transfermarkt estimates the transfer value of the Ukrainian footballer at EUR 6.5 million.
Shakhtar Donetsk announced the signing of a three-year contract with Konoplyanka on September 2.
On September 3, after all the formalities were agreed with Shakhtar, Konoplyanka joined the training camp of the national team's players who are currently preparing for a Euro 2020 qualifier against Lithuania (in Vilnius on September 7) and a friendly match with Nigeria (in Dnipro on September 10).
