Dynamo loses to Jablonec in Europa League

Dynamo Kyiv players have qualified from first place in Group K for the UEFA Europa League's round of 32 despite a home loss to Czech club Jablonec in the final match of the tournament's group stage.

Dynamo Kyiv lost 0-1 to Jablonec at the Olympic National Sports Complex on Thursday, December 13, Ukrinform reports.

Martin Dolezal scored the only goal in the 10th minute. Dynamo lost for the first time at home in the current European tournament season.

In another Group K match, France's Rennes beat Kazakhstan's Astana 2-0 at home and also advanced to the playoffs of the tournament.

Final standings: Dynamo - 11 points, Rennes - 9, Astana - 8, Jablonec - 5.

Another Ukrainian club, Vorskla Poltava, lost 0-3 to Portugal's Sporting in Group E and ended its performance in the Europa League.

Group E standings: Arsenal – 16 points, Sporting – 13, Vorskla - 3, Qarabag – 3.

The draw for the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League will be made in Nyon (Switzerland) on December 17.
