Ukraine's national football team played out a 1-1 draw with Italy in a friendly match at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genoa on Wednesday, October 10.
After the first half, Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi gave Italy the lead in the 55th minute. Ruslan Malinovskyi equalized for Ukraine in the 62nd minute, according to Ukrinform.
The game was paused in the 43rd minute to honor the memory of those who died in the collapse of a bridge in Genoa in August.
Ukraine will take on the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League in Kharkiv on October 16.
