Kostyuk defeats Radwanska at Zhuhai Open

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has won the first match at the 2018 Zhuhai Open tournament in China ($60,000 prize pool).
The 15-year-old Kostyuk progressed to the second round of the competition after defeating 27-year-old Urszula Radwanska from Poland 7-6 (7-3), 6-2, Ukrinform reports.
For a spot in the quarterfinals of the tournament, Kostyuk will face Chinese Fang Ying Xun who beat Danka Kovinic from Montenegro 6-3, 6-4.
Zhuhai Open is the first tournament for Kostyuk after her performance for Ukraine's national team in the Fed Cup in early February this year.
