Kozlova, Kostyuk update their personal records in WTA ranking

Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova set a personal record in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) which has been updated on Monday, February 5.
Having reached the finals of the WTA tournament in Taiwan, Kozlova moved up immediately by 20 positions and updated her personal record. Now she holds 65th position in the world ranking, btu.org.ua reports.
Ukraine’s No. 1 Elina Svitolina retained the third position in the WTA ranking.
Currently, Ukrainian tennis players hold the following positions in the WTA ranking:
- Elina Svitolina – 3d position, (5,835 points);
- Lesia Tsurenko – 40th position (1,260);
- Kateryna Kozlova – 65th position (922);
- Kateryna Bondarenko – 80th position (818).
Having won the ITF Women’s Circuit in Australia, Marta Kostyuk has entered the top-200 of the ranking for the first time in her career and now occupies the 185th position.
