Oleksandriya defeats Astra, wins through to Europa League playoffs

Oleksandriya has passed the third qualifying stage of Europe's second most prestigious club tournament and advanced to the Europa League playoffs round for the first time in history.
After an away goalless draw against Romania's Astra in Giurgiu last week, Volodymyr Sharan's side beat their opponents 1-0 in a return match at the home Nika stadium on Thursday, Ukrinform reports.
Andriy Zaporozhan scored the only goal from a penalty spot in the 43th minute.
FC Oleksandriya will play in the decisive stage of the Europa League qualifying, the draw for which will be made on Friday, August 4.
Zoria Luhansk, for the second time in a row, automatically reached the group stage of the UEFA Europa League and will learn about its opponents during a draw on August 25.
