Dynamo loses to Young Boys, pulls out of Champions League

Ukrainian vice champions Dynamo Kyiv have lost to Switzerland's Young Boys in a Champions League qualifier on away goals and will now play in the group stage of Europe's second most prestigious club tournament - the UEFA Europa League.

After a home 3-1 win at the Olimpiysky Stadium in Kyiv on July 26, Dynamo lost 0-2 to Young Boys at the Stade de Suisse in Bern on August 2. The Ukrainian club failed to reach the Champions League play-offs according to the away goals rule, Ukrinform reports.

Dynamo will play in the UEFA Europa League playoffs round.

The draw for the Europa League play-offs will be made on Friday, August 4, in Nyon, Switzerland.
