Washington State Senate adopts resolution to commemorate Holodomor victims

The Washington State Senate (USA) has adopted a resolution on the Day of Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933.

This is reported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States.

It is noted that the decision was taken unanimously. The main author of the resolution is Washington State Legislature Senator from the Republican Party Mark Miloscia.

“Honorary Consul of Ukraine to Seatle Valery Goloborodko, who took part in hearings, handed over a letter of appreciation from Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valeriy Chaly to Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Washington, President of the Senate Syrus Habib,” the statement reads.
