Russia not to broadcast Eurovision Song Contest 2017

Ukrinform
Russian television will not broadcast Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

This is reported by Russian media.

This decision was made by the leadership of the largest Russian media holdings as a response to a three-year entry ban on Russian singer Yulia Samoilova, which had been imposed yesterday by the Security Service of Ukraine.

As reported, Security Service of Ukraine banned Russian citizen Yulia Samoilova from entering the territory of Ukraine for a period of three years due to her earlier visit to the annexed Crimea.
