Charity campaign "Helping Hand" in support of children of Crimean political prisoners has been held on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, Crimean Tatar souvenirs and the national cuisine of the Crimean Tatars are presented within the framework of the charity campaign.
The Crimean Tatar flags and portraits of prisoners, most of whom are Crimean Tatars, have been hung on the walls.
As reported, the Day of Crimea is marked in the Ukrainian Parliament on February 23 on the occasion of the third anniversary of occupation of the peninsula. February 26, Ukraine marks the Day of Resistance to Occupation of Crimea.
Crimea was annexed by Russia in early 2014.
