Some 1.25 mln Ukrainians visited Turkey in 2016

Last year the number of tourists from Ukraine to Turkey grew by 50% and totaled 1 million 250 thousand.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu said this at a press conference in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The number of Ukrainian tourists who visited Turkey last year grew by 50%. We are very happy that we were able to accept 1 million 25 thousand Ukrainian citizens in our country,” he said.
He added that Turkey and Ukraine are working so that to promote an increase in the number of tourists from both countries.
