Zelensky: SBU foils Russian plots, dismantles spy network
The head of state said this in his nightly video address, commenting on the SBU's report, Ukrinform reports.
"As always, the Security Service of Ukraine also continues to deliver strong results on the frontline in eliminating the occupiers. Work against enemy agent networks is ongoing as well. In particular, today's report covered the neutralization of such Russian influence networks operating through religious communities," he said.
Zelensky added that Major General Oleksandr Poklad reported on preventing crimes in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, Russian operatives were planning attacks, and relevant arrests were made.
"We cannot disclose details publicly at this time, but I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine for protecting our people," he said.
Zelensky also noted that Major General Yevhen Khmara reported on Ukraine's long-range operations targeting "Russia's oil revenues."
"I am grateful to our warriors for their precision. Russia's war must not receive additional resources from the geopolitical situation and such crisis-driven oil prices," he said.
Earlier, Zelensky warned that Russian forces might be preparing a massive strike today, according to intelligence reports.
