No current plans to launch winter admissions campaign
This was announced by Tetiana Vakulenko, Director of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment, in a comment to Ukrinform.
“Currently, there is no talk of this [the introduction of a winter admissions campaign],” she said.
Vakulenko noted that, on behalf of the government, the UCEQA, together with the Ministry of Education and Science, is studying this issue.
“Currently, you have heard about the possibility of an ‘entry-level course’, that is, preparation for retaking exams next year. If such decisions are made, we will certainly inform you about them,” she said.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to simplify the conditions for admission to Ukrainian higher education institutions. In particular, the introduction of a winter admission campaign is possible.
