Norway, as a key member of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, is providing substantial assistance to Ukraine in this effort.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said this in a post on Telegram following a briefing held at the Child Rights Protection Center for Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, as part of President Volodymyr Zelensky's “Bring Kids Back UA” initiative.

Yermak stated that he, together with Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and their team, focused on the central issue: the return of children abducted by Russia.

“Norway is a key member of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children and is offering serious support in the search and repatriation process,” he said.

The Head of the Presidential Office emphasized that the enemy is systematically obstructing these efforts, concealing information, and attempting to destroy lives. According to him, this constitutes a crime against the Ukrainian nation.

It was noted that the Prime Minister of Norway spoke with young people who have already returned home thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

“This is the strongest proof of the effectiveness of our joint efforts. We are grateful for Norway’s consistent support. We continue working to ensure every child returns home,” Yermak said.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed Ukraine’s defense needs, sanctions support, and cooperation with partners on security guarantees during his meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
