By the end of August, at least 30,000 places will be prepared in 15 regions and in Kyiv for people who have been evacuated from frontline areas

This was announced by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Where to go?” This question is being asked in frontline communities. People are leaving their homes under shelling and are looking not for temporary shelter, but for a new place to live. Today, I am in Pavlohrad with the government and rescue team. The center here is working at full capacity — this summer alone, more than 52,000 people have been evacuated from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, including thousands of children and hundreds of people with reduced mobility. To relieve the center, we are opening new transit points in Lozova and Voloske. By the end of the month, at least 30,000 places will be prepared in 15 regions and Kyiv, including for people with reduced mobility," she wrote.

Svyrydenko noted that Ukrzaliznytsia transports thousands of evacuees every day in additional train cars.

“I have given the necessary instructions to the relevant ministries and services — from setting up new centers to preparing the infrastructure for winter,” she said.

The prime minister noted that the government's task is to ensure that no one is left alone with the question of “where to go.” She also thanked rescuers, volunteers, and communities who help Ukrainians on their way to safety every day.

As reported by Ukrinform, the government program to support frontline regions will start on September 1.
