At the National Guard’s training facilities, President Volodymyr Zelensky was shown how Ukrainian National Guard (NGU) soldiers undergo combat preparation.

This was reported on the President's official website, according to Ukrinform.

“Robust preparation for our warriors is the strength of our army and the security of our state. It is essential that this preparation is both professional and effective. Training for the warriors of the National Guard of Ukraine includes the preparation of tank and IFV crews, as well as operators of strike, reconnaissance, and logistics drones. The National Guard personnel use modern simulators, with training conditions as close to real combat as possible,” Zelensky stated on Telegram.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Commander of the National Guard Oleksandr Pivnenko briefed the President on the main training areas and educational programs for the National Guard personnel.

The President was also informed about tactical medicine training, including stopping critical bleeding, providing first aid under fire, evacuating the wounded, and stabilizing them before medical personnel arrive. Over the past few months, more than 500 combat medics have been trained and are now saving lives on the front line.
