Zelensky: each prisoner’s identity verified before exchange

In preparation for the exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia, information on each name is carefully checked.
Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an evening video address, Ukrinform reports.
“We are preparing an exchange. In fact, reports are submitted every day. We must release all our people, of course. We are checking the information on each name,” he said.
The President added that Ukraine is trying to do its best.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, following talks with the Russian delegation in Istanbul, the exchange of prisoners in the “1000 for 1000” format may take place in the near future.
