That's the community Defenders of Zmiinyi wrote on Facebook and posted a video, Ukrinform reports.
"In Ukraine, Easter is one of the main family holidays. On this day, children often visit their parents, and families gather in large groups around the table. But everything has changed. And this is the second Easter that could be called sad. And we are all here today so that the world does not forget about the price that Ukraine pays for its freedom day in and day out," the statement reads.
The community also noted that for the second Easter in a row, 36 families of the defenders of Zmiinyi Island are waiting for their loved ones to return home, who have been in Russian captivity since the first day of the full-scale war.
As reported, Ukraine and Russia held an Easter prisoner exchange, with 130 Ukrainian defenders returning home.
