Enemy amasses up to 15 helicopters to support offensive in Luhansk region

In Bakhmut and Sievierodonetsk directions in Luhansk region, the aggressor amassed up to 15 helicopters to provide air support for the offensive.

“The enemy is firing along the entire line of contact and into the depths of the Ukrainian troops in Donetsk operational area and in Slovyansk direction, taking measures to strengthen the offensive group,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

Twelve enemy attacks were repulsed in Donetsk and Luhansk directions over the past 24 hours. Three enemy tanks, three artillery systems, six armored combat vehicles, and seven vehicles were destroyed.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy attacks the village of Dovhenke. Rocket and tube artillery units were deployed to support the offensive. In order to ensure logistics and replenish the units that suffered casualties, the aggressor moves weapons and military equipment from the territory of the Russian Federation.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy continues to advance in Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Kurakhove directions.

In Lyman direction, the enemy launched an offensive to establish full control over Drobysheve and block Lyman from the north.

In Mariupol, the enemy focuses its efforts on blocking the Ukrainian units near the Azovstal steelworks, continues to launch artillery and air strikes.

According to the General Staff data, in other directions, the enemy focuses on maintaining the previously occupied frontiers, conducting reconnaissance, reinforcing positions, replenishing stocks, as well as trying to improve its tactical position. Russian invaders continue to launch missile strikes on military and civilian objects throughout Ukraine.

In Volyn, Polissya, and Siversky directions, the units of the Belarusian armed forces strengthen the border in Brest and Gomel regions. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus remains.

The enemy continues to fire artillery on the Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure in the border localities of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy focused on maintaining its positions and preventing the further advance of Ukrainian troops. The aggressor fires artillery on the localities of Tsyrkuny, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, and Pytomnyk.

In Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy reinforces groups of troops to launch an offensive in the direction of Polohy – Orikhiv.

In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy focuses its main efforts on maintaining the occupied frontiers, conducting reconnaissance, firing on the Ukrainian troops, and reinforcing positions. In Mykolayiv direction, the Russian invaders deployed up to ten batteries of rocket artillery and up to eight batteries of tube artillery to strike the Ukrainian troops.

In Bessarabsky direction, the situation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova remains tense and has not changed significantly.

The ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov continue to perform tasks to isolate the area of ​​hostilities, reconnoiter, and support fire in the coastal direction.

Over the past day, the air defense units of the Land Forces downed ten operational and tactical UAVs. The anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force downed one UAV and four cruise missiles.
