The relevant statement was made by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Mrs. Stefania, mother of Oleh Psiuk. Together with you, we are proud of your son. Together with you, we rejoice about Kalush Orchestra’s incredible victory at the Eurovision,” Zelenska wrote.
In her words, every such victory, even at the cultural front, is now Ukraine’s victory in the war.
According to Zelenska, Stefania was performed by musicians from Poland, Latvia and France, even The Rasmus. Now, the entire world will sing the Ukrainian song about the Ukrainian mother.
“I congratulate Kalush Orchestra and all of us on such an important victory,” Zelenska added.
