Oleksandr Pavliuk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, decided to assist the media in their operations during the hard curfew imposed on the territories liberated from Russian invaders.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to Pavliuk's post on Telegram.

"It is very important that the whole world sees the horrors that the invaders brought to our land. Therefore, it was decided to allow journalists to work in the liberated settlements across Kyiv region and during the hard curfew, given that the local authorities and national police approve safe routes," said Pavliuk.

At the same time, he stressed that it is still dangerous for local residents who had fled the said areas to return home as demining and anti-sabotage works are underway.

The authorities will update the population on when it is safe to return to their towns and villages.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the curfew in the liberated areas of Kyiv region has been extended until 06:00 on April 7. Until then, locals are strictly forbidden to move around the settlements and visit any public settings.
