Ukraine climbs 15 spots in global broadband speed ranking

Ukraine has jumped from 92nd to 77th place in the world ranking of Internet speed, according to a study conducted by the consulting agency Cable.co.uk.

The average broadband network speed in Ukraine, recorded by the agency on the basis of almost 371,000 tests, is 25.26 Mbps.

The island of Jersey took the first place in the ranking, with an average speed of 274.27 Mbps.

Liechtenstein is second with 211.26 Mbps, and Iceland is third with 191.83 Mbps.

The top ten also includes Andorra, Gibraltar, Monaco, Macau, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Hungary.

The slowest Internet was recorded in Turkmenistan (224th position among countries and territories) with an average speed of 0.5 Mbps.

Ukraine last year ranked 92nd in the world broadband speed ranking.
