The Interior Ministers of Ukraine and Poland, Denys Monastyrsky and Mariusz Kamiński, in a phone conversation discussed the migrant crisis on the Belarus-Poland border.

Ukrinform reports this with a reference to the Communication Department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.

Monastyrsky assured his Polish counterpart of solidarity and support for the position of the Polish government.

"Ukraine supports Poland in this difficult time and hopes that it will be able to resolve the artificially inspired crisis in a peaceful and civilized way," said Monastyrsky.

According to the report, a coordination group of officers of the Border Guard Service and the National Guard will start working on the Ukrainian-Polish border on November 13.

"We are ready to promptly consider any request from the Polish side to provide assistance in resolving the current situation,” the Ukrainian minister said.

As Ukrinform reported, the migrant crisis on the Belarus-Poland border has been going on since August. Poland accuses Belarus of deliberately creating migratory pressure.
