Ukraine hits new daily COVID-19 vaccination record

Ukraine set a new daily vaccination record: almost 292,000 Ukrainians were vaccinated against COVID-19 on October 27, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health wrote on Facebook.

"As many as 291,985 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 over the past day. Some 212,684 people received their first dose, and 79,301 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to data provided by the Ministry of Health, 16,793,558 doses have been administered in Ukraine since the launch of the vaccination campaign. In particular, 9,576,177 people received their first dose and 7,217,383 people received both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

According to the Ministry of Health, 94% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week were unvaccinated.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 26,071 new COVID-19 cases on October 27.
