Kyiv records 1,416 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,416 new coronavirus cases on October 26, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 254,337, he wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 744 women aged 18-100 years, 493 men aged 18-88 years, 95 girls aged between four days and 17 years, and 84 boys aged between two months and 17 years.
As many as 54 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 26 (5,991 in total).
At the same time, 573 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 227,334 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 22,574 new COVID-19 cases on October 26.
