Kyiv reports 837 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 837 new coronavirus cases on October 18, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 245,483, he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 467 women aged 18-95 years, 304 men aged 18-88 years, 35 girls aged between three months and 17 years, and 31 boys aged between one month and 17 years.

Twenty-six lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 18 (5,712 in total).

At the same time, 246 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 224,834 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 15,579 new COVID-19 cases on October 18.
