Over 148,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses given in Ukraine in past day

"A total of 148,735 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on October 8, 2021. Some 73,961 people received their first dose, and 74,774 people were fully vaccinated," the Health Ministry of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

According to the Ministry, 962 mobile vaccination teams, 3,153 vaccination sites, and 350 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 13,578,790 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 7,495,411 people receiving their first dose and 6,083,379 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
