Over 6M Ukrainians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Over six million people in Ukraine have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Over six million Ukrainians have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine! As many as 127,685 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on October 7, 2021. Some 61,250 people received their first dose, and 66,345 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 936 mobile vaccination teams, 3,050 vaccination sites, and 355 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 13,430,055 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 7,421,450 people receiving their first dose and 6,008,605 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 16,362 new COVID-19 cases were registered in Ukraine on October 7.
