Government approves action plan to implement concept of eHealth development

According to the Ministry of Health, the plan will help form the conditions for the development of eHealth system in Ukraine and create an ecosystem where medical workers can work efficiently and safely.

"Together with partners we have developed a document that will be one of the key documents in the implementation and development of eHealth in Ukraine. The development of key areas of eHealth system, as well as detailed planning of necessary measures is crucial to achieve long-term goals such as access to services, quality management and efficiency of the healthcare system,” said Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Maria Karchevych.

The implementation of the action plan until 2025 will contribute to: improving the quality and accessibility of medical services, expanding the rights and opportunities of patients, ensuring continuous healthcare and safety, improving the management and use of resources, high public awareness of healthy lifestyles, disease prevention and provision of medical care.
