Kyiv confirms 583 new COVID-19 cases – Klitschko

Kyiv city recorded 583 new coronavirus cases on September 29, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 233,900.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 327 women aged 18-91 years, 188 men aged 18-93 years, 32 girls aged between one month and 17 years, and 36 boys aged between six months and 17 years.

Seven lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on September 28 (5,385 in total).

At the same time, 590 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 220,767 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 9,666 new COVID-19 cases on September 28.
