Kyiv reports 135 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths

Kyiv city recorded 135 new coronavirus cases on September 26, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 232,856.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 73 women aged 18-77 years, 44 men aged 18-86 years, 10 girls aged 2-17 years, and 8 boys aged 1-17 years.

Five lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on September 26 (5,374 in total).

At the same time, 36 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 219,958 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 3,007 new COVID-19 cases on September 26.
