Over 5.2M Ukrainians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Some 116,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 21, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 116,005 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 21, 2021. Some 68,502 people received their first dose, and 47,503 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 841 mobile vaccination teams, 2,787 vaccination sites, and 335 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 11,681,589 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 6,435,425 people receiving their first dose and 5,246,164 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 6,754 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 21.
