Liashko: 12.5M COVID-19 vaccine doses available in Ukraine

Currently 12.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses are available in Ukraine, according to Health Minister Viktor Liashko.

“Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, we have already brought more than 22 million vaccine doses to Ukraine, of which 10.5 have been used. Currently we have about 12.5 million doses remaining. In addition, we have scheduled weekly deliveries of additional vaccines, on Wednesdays-Thursdays, until the end of the year,” Liashko told journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Liashko stressed that vaccine deliveries to Ukraine would be uninterrupted.

"The vaccine is available, and there are vaccine options," the minister added.

As Ukrinform reported, as of September 9, 5,789,252 people in Ukraine received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 4,618,573 people were fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
