Military intelligence plays a key role in protecting Ukraine's interests and security, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
He wrote this on his Twitter account, congratulating Ukrainian intelligence officers on their professional holiday, according to Ukrinform.
"Military intelligence officers today play a key role in protecting Ukraine's interests and security. Thanks to them, we are able to prevent threats and overcome challenges. After the operation to rescue people in Afghanistan, the whole world applauds Ukrainian military intelligence," Zelensky said.
Ukraine marks Military Intelligence Day on September 7.
