More than 1.4M biometric passports issued in Ukraine this year

Since the beginning of 2021, 1,409,567 biometric passports for traveling abroad have been issued in Ukraine.
"Overall, 1,079,785 ID cards and 1,409,567 [biometric] foreign passports have been issued since the beginning of 2021," the State Migration Service of Ukraine reported on its Facebook page.
In August, more than 209,000 biometric passports and almost 182,000 ID cards were issued in Ukraine.
As reported, more than 183,000 ID cards and 257,000 biometric passports were issued in Ukraine in July.
