Kyiv reports 181 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv recorded 181 new coronavirus cases on August 17, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
Among people who have fallen ill are 87 women aged 19-95 years, 79 men aged 18-86 years, 7 girls aged 1-15 years, and 8 boys aged between 2 months and 15 years.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the city has reached 221,583.
One lethal case from COVID-19 was recorded on August 17 (5,264 lethal cases in total).
At the same time, 29 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 214,206 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 1,447 new COVID-19 cases on August 17.
