Kyiv reported 59 coronavirus cases over the past day.

"Kyiv confirms 59 coronavirus cases," Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, 34 women aged 25 to 86, 22 men aged 21 to 87, one girl aged 16, and two boys aged 16 and 17 contracted COVID-19.

Three coronavirus-related deaths, 47 recoveries, and 18 hospitalizations were registered over the past day.

Since the start of the pandemic in Kyiv, a total of 221,275 cases have been recorded with 5,261 coronavirus-related deaths and 214 089 recoveries.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 417 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 2,266,329.
