Ukraine launches official Instagram account

“The new English-language page promotes Ukraine's positive image among foreign audiences. It shows a modern Ukraine, dynamic and innovative, which goes beyond expectations and makes people fall in love with it at first sight,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs.

On the @ukraine.ua Instagram page, visitors and subscribers will learn about popular tourist magnets, cultural events and festivals, innovations, opportunities, Ukraine, and Ukrainians. The page uses photos of Ukrainian photographers — partners of the imagebank on the official website of Ukraine and the brand of Ukraine UkraineNOW.

As noted, the creation and development of Ukraine’s verified account on Instagram is a part of the strategic work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on promoting Ukraine's positive image abroad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently approved its Public Diplomacy Strategy, which identifies the main approaches to forming Ukraine's international image and reputation.
