Kyiv records 256 new coronavirus cases

Kyiv has confirmed 256 new coronavirus cases in the past day, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"256 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed (211,437 in total). Among people who have fallen ill are 158 women aged 18-92 years, 91 men aged 20-79 years, 3 girls aged 1-17, and 4 boys aged 6-14 years,” Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Two lethal cases from COVID-19 have been reported over the past day (5,162 in total).

At the same time, 1,879 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 200,800 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease since the start of the pandemic.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 1,045 new COVID-19 cases on June 15.
