This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine with reference to Culture and Information Policy Minister Oleksandr Tkachenko.
“Ukraine should make the most of its opportunities and tourism potential in order to promote the development of international cooperation. We are interested in opening our country to Saudi Arabia. This will expand the possibilities of our cooperation both in the field of tourism and in business in general. And it will help deepen trade relations,” Tkachenko said.
Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development Maryana Oleskiv noted that the Persian Gulf countries were a promising direction for the development of tourist flows, primarily for Ukraine. According to her, the combination of green, mountain, cultural and gastronomic tourism is something that may be of interest to travelers from the countries of the Middle East.
