Cabinet of Ministers appoints new chief sanitary doctor

 The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Deputy Minister of Health Ihor Kuzin as Ukraine's chief state sanitary doctor.

According to Ukrinform, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko announced this on his Facebook page.

The government also appointed Petro Yemets as another deputy minister of health.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed two of my nominees for deputy minister. Ihor Kuzin and Petro Yemets, welcome to the team of the Ministry of Health," Liashko wrote.

Kuzin earlier held the post of deputy director general of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The post of Ukraine's chief state sanitary doctor was earlier held by Liashko, who was appointed minister of health on May 20.
