Dzheppar, UWC leadership discuss plans to promote Crimean Platform’s goals
"At an online meeting with the leadership of the Ukrainian World Congress, Dzheppar informed about the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky to create a new international coordinating and advisory format - the Crimean Platform, which aims to unite the efforts of Ukraine and its international partners to de-occupy Crimea,” reads the report.
The Ukrainian first deputy minister stressed that in order to demonstrate global support for this initiative, it is extremely important to involve as many states and other stakeholders from different regions of the world as possible to participate in the inaugural summit of the Crimean Platform. It is also important to keep the world community informed about the goals and objectives of the Crimean Platform.
In this regard, Dzheppar noted that public organizations and the leadership of the Ukrainian diaspora would play a significant role in the process of advocacy for the Crimean Platform and building an international coalition in its support.
"We will be very grateful for the support of our efforts by the Ukrainian World Congress," she said.
Dzheppar thanked the Ukrainian World Congress for its long-term support of Ukraine.
As reported, the Crimean Platform is to be launched officially at an inaugural summit in Kyiv on August 23, 2021.
