Another 65 t of humanitarian aid delivered to occupied territories of eastern Ukraine

A humanitarian cargo weighing 65.21 tonnes has been delivered to the Russian-occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, according to the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

"Today, April 26, 2021, six trucks delivered humanitarian cargo weighing 20.16 tonnes to the Russian-occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. In addition, on Friday, April 23, 2021, another 45.05 tonnes of humanitarian aid were delivered by six trucks," the report reads.

The cargo was transferred from all member states of the Geneva Conventions that contribute to the global budget of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Thus, 12 trucks carrying humanitarian aid, namely food packages and medical goods, crossed the Novotroitske checkpoint.

As Ukrinform reported, on April 21, seven trucks delivered humanitarian cargo weighing 91 tonnes to the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. On April 19, six trucks delivered humanitarian aid weighing 120.96 tonnes to the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine.
