Ministry of Digital Transformation, Tech StartUp School to develop digital literacy programs

Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation and Tech StartUp School, which operates at Lviv Polytechnic National University, have agreed to develop and implement educational programs and trainings for developing digital skills, Ukrinform reports referring to the ministry’s press service.

The relevant memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Tech StartUp School.

Apart from developing digital literacy programs, the parties agreed to launch specialized hubs and digital ecosystems to stimulate and create digital innovations and innovative technology companies and startups, develop inclusive projects using digital technologies, jointly create content to develop information society, digital skills and digital rights of citizens.

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeria Ionan stressed that cooperation with Tech StartUp School will be implemented as part of the national project Diia.Digital Education, which aims to teach at least six million Ukrainians digital literacy in three years.
