Dutch police arrest Ukrainian with almost EUR 3M in his car

Police in the Netherlands have arrested a Ukrainian citizen who had almost three million euros in cash in his car, Ukrinform's correspondent in The Hague has reported, with reference to Dutch news site NOS.

"The police arrested a man from Ukraine in Landgraaf because there were almost three million euros in cash in his car," the report reads.

According to the report, the arrest was made in early March, but the police have released this information only now.

It is known that the man is 45 years old. Three shopping bags with money were found in his car. The exact amount is 2,947,750 euros.

The man has been temporarily released, but the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
