Lekhim planning to deliver first batch of Sinovac vaccines on March 25

The Lekhim group of pharmaceutical companies is planning to deliver the first batch of the Chinese-made Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines to Ukraine on March 25.

The marketing department of Lekhim confirmed this information to Ukrinform.

"The Lekhim group of companies will deliver the first batch of vaccines on March 25," the company said.

As reported by Ukrinform, it was previously announced that the first batch of Sinovac Biotech vaccines would arrive in Ukraine on March 15. The first batch of the vaccine is expected in the amount of 700,000 doses. In total, the company has to supply 1.9 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine.

On February 23, a batch of the Oxford/AstraZeneca (Covishield) vaccine made by Serum Institute of India (SII) arrived in Ukraine.
