Ukraine reports 5,182 new coronavirus cases

As of February 13, Ukraine has reported 1,268,049 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 5,182 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.

"Some 5,182 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been recorded in Ukraine as of February 13, 2021. In particular, 330 children and 226 health workers contracted COVID-19," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov posted on his Facebook page.

According to him, 111 deaths, 6,144 recoveries and 1,889 hospitalizations were registered in Ukraine in the last day.

In addition, 40,806 coronavirus tests, including 25,059 PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 15,747 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) tests, were performed in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 24,285 deaths and 1,112,299 recoveries have been recorded, and 6,525,209 PCR tests have been performed.

The highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk region (668), Zakarpattia region (485), Chernivtsi region (384), Vinnytsia region (365) and Lviv region (329).
